Parting is such sweet sorrow!

She may be all smiles here, but I can assure you this was not the case around 9 o'clock yesterday morning. I was prepared to see some tears as I dropped Jude off at pre-school, but I expected them to be from JUDE. As it turns out, the transition to school has been hardest on INDIGO! We've been staying with Jude on the playground for the first 25 minutes or so. Then the kids head inside and we leave. Every day so far Indi has been bawling as we go. Today she desperately shouted out, "JUDE! JUDE!" through tears. We got in the car and I called Dan to say good morning and tell him about Indi. As I was telling him the story, she exclaims from the backseat, "I'M CRYING!" followed by more calls for Jude.

  1. How sweet! Yes, we have one of those little drama queens at our house too! They know how to use their cuteness...don't they?
