A Visit with Grammy and Grampy

Dan's parents were visiting for a long weekend and we had a great time.  The kids so enjoyed spending time with "Grammy" and "Grampy".  Indi has figured out that grandmothers are in their own specific category of people because she repeatedly called Grammy "Ga Ga" which is our name for my mom.  Grammy joked that Indi's a budding
anthropologist!

Grammy is a fabulous cook and we spent a good portion of one day making this recipe together: Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic. It may sound like too much garlic, but the garlic ends up being very sweet and delicious, flavors the sauce, and those less enthusiastic about garlic can just not eat the cloves.  We served it with Moroccan Couscous.  Both of these recipes are from Ina Garten's book Barefoot In Paris.

Somehow the weekend flew by without us taking any pictures!!!  I was disappointed when I realized this.   However, we had a wonderful time and we'll always have the memories!
