Birthdays Abound[ed]

Dan's birthday was April 8th and Indigo's was the 11th.  Dan had the first party, of course, and none of my pictures turned out except for this:

Let's just say Gus wasn't so crazy about the party hat.

And this [albeit grainy] photo of the birthday boy:

If my pictures would have turned out, it would have looked like a joyous occasion.  Thus the difference between the blog-world and reality.  Here's the reality.  Indigo was crying because she kept insisting it was HER birthday.  Also noticed how Jude's shirt is on backwards AND inside out.  And try to ignore my dorky singing.  Oh, and I apologize for the poor quality of this video.  I tried several times to get it into higher quality, but it just wasn't working for me.

Fast forward three days and Indi got to have her party.

  9. p.s. Was Indi just waving her arms or was she telling you "all done" with sign language? Either way I'm crackin' up! WeeBeth always uses the "all done" sign for anytime she is ' all done' with a situation, activity or all done with the person who is talking to her. So, I just had to ask! : )

  10. shannon,
no, that's just what indi does sometimes when she gets frustrated. jude, however, was big into signing "all done". it was adorable!
