A Dress for a Princess

I have become pretty addicted to sewing these days and it has become my hobby of choice whenever I can find some free time. I think this dress is my favorite that I've made so far. The pattern is called Claire by Sandi Henderson. I used two fabrics from Anna Maria Horner's "Good Folks" line. The other fabric I used is part of the Modo Mono Wonderland line.

We call this dress, "a dress suited for a princess". I can't wait to someday see our Ethiopian princess wearing this dress as well!

We still have no new adoption news. Indigo just looked up at me and asked, "Can we go to our new baby sister's?" She is obsessed with her "new baby sister". We all long for the day when we can see her face. Some families at our agency have been waiting 5 months for a referral, so it may be November (or later) before we see a picture of our new baby. It could be sooner, too. Ethiopian adoption, like most international adoptions, is unpredictable. But we continue to trust that the timing will be perfect. Don't get me wrong, though, we're hoping for sooner rather than later. We're all so excited!
