Elsie Marley Kids Clothes Week Challenge

Do you want to sew for your kids, but need the kick in the pants to carve out the time to do it?  Has it been awhile since you've checked out all of the great patterns and lots and lots(!) of free tutorials out there?  Yeah, me too.  That's why I'm super excited about the Elsie Marley Kids Clothes Week Challenge.  It's one week of sewing, for a minimum of one hour a day.  There's a Flickr group to share your lovely creations - and find some fantastic inspiration, too.  Need a little push to get those creative juices flowing?  This pinterest board is sure to do the trick!

It's going to be tough to find one hour a day for a week, but I'm going to give it my best shot.   I know it will be worth it.  The planning itself has been half the fun!  Check it out.

  1. Yes! I have a ton of projects to finish and Rowena's school has an auction I've volunteered to sew for. And it's at the end of the sew along week! Talk about perfect timing. Thanks for the little kick in the butt Rachel, watching you make time with your four little ones inspires me!

  2. Mary! I am so glad to hear from you! I just went to check your blogs, but it looks like you aren't updating them anymore. I wanted to add you to my google reader! I hope at the very least I can catch a peek of your sewing on the Elsie Marley Flickr group perhaps... or maybe FB? Hope all is well
