We are home. It's so very good to be home. We came home yesterday afternoon. Jude and Indigo couldn't be happier. Evie? Well, she's in a bit of denial. When asked if she wanted mama to come home, she replied, "Yes!" Then when asked if she wanted baby to come home, she shook her head and said, "No". She's actually doing well all things considered. These transitions are hard for two year olds. Today at naptime, Dan sang her a song he made up about how she is mommy and daddy's baby. She glowed and kept asking for "more".
Baby Iris and I are doing well. As good as one could ask for, really. I'm making my way through the peaks and valleys that can come along with milk coming in, probably made a little more intense as we wonder if she will be our last newborn. Thankfully, that is not a decision to be made today.
